In this book, the author pays tribute to the greatest MENTOR we should all love, respect, and look up to, OUR MOTHER.This was an engaging, short read that inspired me to call my mom and thank her for all she has done for me. As you read this book you will fall in love with Cora Lee Harlan as if she was your mother.
Read along as the author describes what it was like growing up with this amazing woman. Although she is no longer with us, her legacy and memory lives on in the lives she influenced, and the impact can be felt through this book.

Cora Lee Harlan had a heart for love. Foster parents don't always get high marks from adopted children but Cora was the exception.Although she had several biological children of her own she always had room to take in just one more.So when six year old Raphael Tirrell Harlan came into the picture he was welcomed into the fold.
He was born on November 23, 1991 in Detroit, Michigan.His biological mother had a cocaine addition and she was not able to care for him. He was diagnosed with a speech impediment and ADHD but Cora adopted him at nine years of age.Her love and devotion to her children and to Raphael shaped his entire life.This heartwarming story of a mothers love will be a blessing to all who read it.
This is a very honest fact based book written by my cousin. The book is wtitten from his heart i know because his late mom was my aunt and what he wrote is the truth. I admire him for allowing his heart to lead him in writting this book for he loves his mom very much. He truly did protect and take care of his mom many times even standing in harm,s way to protect her. A good book to readf about the love of son for his mother.
